Sony Ericsson announces LiveView

Sony Ericsson announced a new accessory for use with Android phones, the Sony Ericsson LiveView. Essentially it is a watch-face-like 1.3” touchscreen that will display important information from your Android device.

Using an Android app, users will be able to control many of their phones key features, open some apps, read text messages, and read emails directly from their LiveView.
The LiveView is even open to third-party developer integration, Sony Ericsson is allowing developers to be able to write apps that can interact with the device itself. A LiveWare Manager application will gather all of the LiveView compatible apps so you can browse with ease and download to further customize your device.

Sony Ericsson Rika, G705′s Walkman Slider that Sony Ericsson

From Unofficial Sony Ericsson Blog, the new Walkman phone borrows a group from the design of new G705. The similar square shape, the same display and front-facing camera positioning.

Rika has devoted music keys instead of the traditional navigation pad included in the G705. Also, the Walkman handset has a brushed metal finishing, which makes it look pretty distinct
Rika should bring Wi-Fi, GSM and HSDPA connectivity and a camera of at least 3 Megapixels.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 seems to be one of those smartphones that have the power to truly revolutionize the mobile world, is a horizontal slider phone based on Windows Mobile 6.1. It is Sony Ericsson’s first mobile phone to feature Windows Mobile.

It has a 3.2 megapixel digital camera with auto focus and records video at thirty frames per second in VGA quality. It features a variety of connectivity options: mini-USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, and GSM, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, and HSCSD.
The Xperia X1 has 400MB internal memory, which is expandable to 32 gigabytes using High Capacity microSD cards. The phone also features internal GPS and A-GPS for navigation.
