Skype for iPhone – now with video calling

Now Skype for iPhone lets you get more out of the moment with friends, family and even colleagues. Skype has added a new video calling feature to its iPhone app, giving users an alternate service from Apple’s own FaceTime video chat standard.

With other Skype users you can:

  • Make free Skype-to-Skype voice and video calls over 3G and WiFi.
  • Share video calls on Skype with people on iPhone, PC or Mac.
  • Talk face-to-face or show what you’re seeing with front- and rear-facing cameras.

Nokia C5-03 (unboxing)

Nokia C5-03 is a mid-range Symbian smartphone for people on a budget. Offering a 3.2-inch resistive touch screen, 5MP camera, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and microSDHC card slot.

Similar in specification to the Nokia C6-01, the C5-03 makes some compromises along the way to keep the price down. Perhaps the most important difference between the C5-03 and C6-01 is the display.

Skyfire Updated to Version 3.0.1

Today, we are releasing Skyfire Version 3.0.1, a minor release with a few new features and many bug fixes.
We are excited by all the great feedback that we have received about Skyfire 3.0 from the user community.

What’s new in 3.0.1:

Upload file: For users on FroYo (Android OS 2.2) and later, you will now be able to upload files from within the browser.
Move to SD Card: One of the most requested features for FroYo (Android OS 2.2) and later devices. Now, with one click, you can move the app to SD card to free up some memory. This feature can be found in “Manage Applications” under “Settings”.
Improved Download Workflow: File download will happen in background and notification will be automatically placed in the system tray. This should make downloading files faster and more fun.
Crash Reporting: Although Skyfire 3.0 is very stable, there are still some infrequent crashes and that’s not acceptable to us. With Skyfire 3.0.1, we have made it very easy for our users to send us anonymous logs so we can squash the bugs that cause these crashes. If Skyfire crashes, the next time you launch the application, you will be prompted to send us the logs. Please rest assured that this is anonymous and we will look at this daily to improve the browser.
