The Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android-based compact tablet computer produced by Samsung. It features a 7-inch, TFT-LCD touchscreen, Wi-Fi capability, a 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 (Hummingbird) processor, and the Swype input system. It is equipped with a 3.2 MP rear-facing camera and a 1.3 MP front facing camera for video calls. Android 2.2 is preinstalled on the Tab, so Flash is supported.

Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available in the UK on all major networks from 1 November, but prices have still to be announced.

The Galaxy Tab is powered by the Android 2.2 operating system and a 1GHz processor and comes with a seven-inch display. A 1.3-megapixel camera allows for face-to-face video telephony with a 3 megapixel rear facing camera capturing images and videos.
HD video content is supported by multimedia formats including DivX, Xvid ad MPEG4.
For voice telephony, the Galaxy Tab can be turned into speakerphone or a mobile phone via a Bluetooth headset.
