Alcatel has announce its 2008 mobile phone collection and one of them is OT-E206a that will be the first model to be released by MVNO operator, O2 Wireless in US.
This phone is a black solid candy bar phone. Its specifications are limited to 96 x 76 pixel and 65,000-color display, 250-contact phone book, text messaging, 8 channels polyphonic ringtones, vibration, SMS and 2 pre-installed games. It is a very simple cell phone, not a cool, but is smooth, black and easy to glide in your pocket, coming by the essential phone functions for daily use at a realistic price.
Alcatel OT-E206a operate on GSM 900 / 1800 bands, and allow you to converse for up to 5 hours continuously, having a stand-by time of 250 hours.
It weighs 69g at 98 x 42.5 x 18.5 mm.
