Nokia 5500

The 5500 is a smartphone planned for outside and sports for use in rough and strong condition. It has a stainless steel carcass for better durability and resistance to tumble, wet, and dust. Is more durable than a usual mobile!
The handset has three distinctive modes: Phone, Music, or Sports - with a special switch key to change between modes. In Sports style, the cell phone monitors your implement and displays training data, distance and speed, steps taken, and calories burned. In Music mode, you can listen to FM radio or the MP3 tracks. Sound class is excellent, and a Nokia Sports Headset is included. The radio has Visual Radio support, enabling you to discover which song is playing, who sings it, and additional artist information. There's abundance of memory for storing MP3 tracks on the expandable microSD memory card. The typical 5500 Sport comes with a 64 MB microSD card, at the same time as the Nokia 5500 Sport Music edition comes with a 512MB card. A Nokia Carrying Holder and Clip are integrated in the sales box. In reality the 5500 Sport Music edition include a Nokia Sports Belt, Nokia Wrist Strap and a Nokia Mountain Bracket.
The phone display is a 1.7" (208x208 pixel) TFT LCD able of display up to 262k colors. The colors are lively and visibility in light is admirable, building it ideal for outside activities.

The 5500 comes with a built-in camera by a 2MP CMOS sensor. You can decide the combination of resolutions and compression value you want, and too use the date and time to given name your photos. The highest resolution of pictures is 1600x1200, but video resolution is only 176x144, which is a little unsatisfactory.
The games support comes with to both Java MIDP2.0 and Flash. The Flash game included is the hyper-addictive Sudoku and the Java games are 3D Snakes, Groovy Labyrinth, and Wakeboard. The final two games make use of the 3D motion sensor. In Groovy Labyrinth, for example, you manipulate a marble by oriented the handset.

The phone is equipped by an 860mAh battery, and Nokia's official information state this must give you 4 hours talk time and 270 hours standby time. In normal tests, lasted for approximately three days, which is pretty decent for a smartphone. Note that turning on the sports mode and music player will consume battery greatly faster. There is only one inconvenience for this product is battery life.
