This is a 3G phone and also supports triband GSM The design isn't innovative by any way in design vocabulary this is a smart and organized candybar handset. At 99g weight it is light and measures only 110 x 48 x 16 mm, very pocketable size. The rear casing and the external edges are made of white plastic with a pearl scent finish. This is able to pick up and reflect traces of other colors in certain illumination conditions. The keypad and screen frame are finished of a more brilliant but less reflective white plastic. Also the number pad is big, with well distinct keys every separately shaped making them very easy to locate and hit. The rectangle navigation button is as well large, and is depressed towards a square, silver, select button. The rear also houses the lens for the integrated camera. The top edge is clear, although the bottom has a slot for main power. On the right, are two buttons edge and both are complete of shiny silver metal; one is a volume rocker, the other activate the camera. There is a cover slot for the miniSD card so you will need to add to the built-in memory on the lower part of the left edge. The screen is practically small, 1.9 inches diagonal, and has 176 x 220 pixels but is balance by delivering 256,000 colors. There's no front facing camera so you can't make two way video calls in which you can see the person you are call and they can see you, and be able to use this to also show the person you are calling what you can see, or look into the camera and show them yourself. That camera resolution is VGA is definitely not at the cutting edge is a new aspect of this phone which is below par. It shoots both stills and video and has quite a few filters: normal, sepia, grey scale, negative, and solarization. It too has automatic settings for lighting conditions: normal, backlight, tungsten, night, sunny and cloudy. There is a timer which can be set at 5 seconds, 10 seconds or 15 seconds. The camera is not accompanied by a self-portrait mirror or flash unit, and it shoots stills at only just two resolutions 320 x 240 and 640 x 480. If you desire to listen to music playback you will require investing in a headphone either Bluetooth or wired as none comes with the phone. Also music fans will almost certainly want to buy a miniSD card to boost the internal memory. Although our telephone had more than 16MB free, only 8MB is offered for music storage. You'll must to buy a cable if you want to synchronize via a wired link or you can prefer Bluetooth. Some software is also needed, and once more this was not provided with phone. The fitted applications are beautiful; with an alarm clock, calendar, count down timer, to do list, stopwatch, calculator and voice recorder all included. You can download various software that lets you synchronize your phone, with a PC, and you can use the phone as a modem with a different device, for instance a laptop computer. My600v battery life is extraordinary. Sagem says it is good for up to six hours of music listening from a single charge. When we tested this by asking the phone to play music non-stop it gave us almost 17 hours of play. During this test the screen backlight was set to time out at 120 seconds, so modest power was used keeping the screen running, but even taking that into account this battery life seems remarkable.
