The ‘Ultra Edition’ demonstrates Samsung’s vision for the future of mobile communications in terms of technology and design. The Ultra Edition 6.9 (X820) leads the handset pack, boast ing the world’s thinnest profile of only 6.9 mm . Also on display is the Ultra Edition 12.9 (D900), the world’s slimmest slider with a depth of only 12.9mm and a picture-perfect 3 megapixel camera. Making its debut at CommunicAsia is the Ultra Edition 9.9 (D830), a brand new clamshell handset that is 9.9 mm thin.

Samsung D830 Features

The new kid on the block is the freshly announced clamshell Samsung D830 (Ultra Edition 9.9). The new flip phone would feature tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support, a 2 megapixel camera with auto focus, a large 2.3" 320x240 pixels 262K color TFT display, a small 1-line external monochrome display, 80MB internal memory and a microSD memory slot at the meager weight of 85 g.

Samsung X820 Features

The bar phone Samsung X820 (Ultra Edition 6.9) was already announced in May 2006. The phone has a tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support and a 2 megapixel camera. Its technological drawbacks may be the smaller size and poorer 176x220 pixel resolution of the 1.9" 262K color display, or the lack of auto focus for the camera and the lack of a memory card slot for memory expansion, but it makes up for all of those with its sheer size and weight - it's only 6.9 mm thick and weighs the impressive 66 g.

Slide phone with a complex menu and fm radio,3,15 MP built in camera,2048x1536 max resolution,autofocus,video(cif),flash,MP3/AAC/ACC+ player, Organizer, TV output, Voice memo, built in handsfree, darker image acording to the time of day, microSD memory card,60 MB internal memory, slick design considered to be the slimest phone in the world, overall a beautyfull phone.
