The best we have of the new Sony Ericsson W200a is a shot of its orange posterior, which reveals a camera, a possible speakerphone, and that's about it. Given Sony Ericsson's multi-pronged approach to 2007, this thing makes perfect sense on the low end of their upcoming lineup, and considering the 850 and 1900MHz GSM bands its supporting, an American release certainly seems plausible. The Sony Ericsson W200 is a new Walkman branded music phone that is aimed at the entry-level user. The MSRP sits at a low $179.99 and Sony Ericsson expects carriers to sell the device for under $50. The W200 picks up where the popular W300 i left off in terms of features but adds a few twists besides a candy bar form factor. Features of the W200 include:
The Sony Ericsson W200 will ship in selected markets starting in the second quarter. While it was not announced, Cingular is the likely target for this handset in the US due to their existing relationship. It will come in two color schemes, rhythm black and pulse white.

Overall a good phone but it lacks the camera capabilities, good sound, very good battery, good headphone, user friendly and other many more great features.

I've been using this phone for 5 months now. Excluding for the camera the other features: Walkman media player and Memory Stick. Easy file management. You do not have to switch on the Bluetooth or IR for file transfer. It automatically switches on based on the mode of transfer selected. Also allows creating your own melodies. The ease of interfacing the phone to my system. With all these features I must say it is a must buy phone.
